About MeasureHatch

MeasureHatch is an independent website that makes home project math easier to understand. Our goal is simple: when someone needs to estimate tile, concrete, lumber, or landscape supplies, they should be able to enter measurements, see a useful result, and understand how it was calculated.

What we publish

We create interactive planning tools, worked examples, and plain-English guidance for DIY projects and small jobs. Our calculators run in your browser without requiring an account. We aim to show units, formulas, rounding and assumptions clearly so that an estimate can be checked rather than blindly trusted.

What we do not claim

MeasureHatch is not a construction contractor, structural engineer, architect, licensed cost estimator or product seller. We do not inspect your work site or verify a supplier’s current products and prices. Our estimates are informational starting points. Material selection, safety, professional installation, permits and code compliance must be checked separately.

How we keep things useful

We focus on a manageable set of related calculators rather than publishing large quantities of low-value pages. Each guide includes a concrete explanation or worked example. We correct calculation or usability issues as we find them and welcome feedback through our contact page. You can read more about the underlying formulas in our methodology.
