The calculation explained
Estimate tile material cost as room area × (1 + waste percentage) × tile price per square foot. Add room area × labor rate, room area × other-material rate, and any fixed project charges.
Worked example
For 120 sq ft at $4.50/sq ft of tile and a 10% waste allowance, material allowance is $594. Labor at $7/sq ft adds $840. Other materials at $1.50/sq ft add $180, plus any fixed prep fee.
What to check before you buy
Prices are entered by the visitor; the tool does not pull regional contractor quotes. Removal, leveling, waterproofing, taxes, travel, disposal, and change orders may increase the price. Obtain written quotations before committing.
These figures are estimates, not final purchase orders, professional installation instructions or engineering advice. The product packaging and site conditions take precedence over default values. When in doubt, confirm with a qualified contractor, supplier or relevant professional.
